He Ain't Cleanin' His Room! - Blog

I'm often amazed at just how much my little 7-year-old son, Aidan, reminds me of myself as a child...and as an adult.  My wife recently asked, "Do you know where Aidan is?"  She said, "He's not cleaning his room."  One quick look out the window at the backyard and I knew exactly where he was.  He had snuck out of the house with his bow in hand and was stackin' arrows in the hog target from his "treestand." 
I'll be honest, I struggle to punish a kid that is neglecting his chores so he can shoot stuff with his bow.  I'll have to work on that...maybe.
