Hogs, turkey, and bowfishing...Thank You Lord!...I love this time of year!  Despite the relentless cold snaps we've been having, spring is on the way!  It's a new year, with new critters to chase with my Mathews Creed XS bow.  I always look forward to a new season, new adventures, new stories to tell, new memories to make.  Let's get it on!

I had the opportunity to speak this past weekend at Morningstar church in PA.  It was their 11th Annual Sportsmen Dinner.  It was a great event with 550-600 in attendance.  Following the event I got a note from the pastor stating that 130 people had prayed to receive Christ at this event!  And that's good stuff!  I also got a Facebook message following the event from a guy that attended the dinner..."Thanks for tonight.  Have not been in a church for like 8 years.  I think I will check it out tomorrow (Sunday) also. Need to hear more word. I walked out of Morningstar feeling different than when I walked in."  
And this is why we go.  This is why we kill critters in the name of Jesus to share and show at these events.  This is why we continue to tell the story of Jesus.  

He took my place.  It should have been me hangin' on that tree.  He was beat down for me!  Thank you Jesus!
