@brooutdoors If you're not careful you can easily get caught up in trying to find fulfillment in a multitude of followers. Think about it. How many times have you let the number of "Likes" on your social media post make or break your mood for the moment? Today's society tends to tell us that the person with the most friends and followers wins in this life. So we hang our worth on how many folks follow us. As the picture above notes, Jesus only had 12. 12 followers. Hardly enough to be considered a celebrity. Not even close to enough for a sponsor endorsement. But with 12 simple followers Jesus changed the world. Sure, there were a lot of folks that followed him simply to see the crazy stunts He pulled off. Everyone likes a show. But when He called the people out and explained what it truly meant to be a follower, most of the folks turned and walked away. Only a few remained as faithful followers. Jesus invested His life into a very small group of followers. Those followers changed the world forever.
