Fall Bowfishing

10/31/2013

Although we're in the midst of the deer hunter's favorite time of the year, I went out with a couple good friends the other night to try a little fall bowfishing on a new spot on the TN River.  Lake levels are very low right now on KY Lake so we had high hopes that fish might be piled in to this new location. However, things were fairly slow.  We did see enough fish to keep us cruising the shallows as we saw a variety of fish and even encountered one monster fish that got away without an arrow.  It was a great night to enjoy some fall weather on the water...proving once again, anytime is a good time for bowfishing.
