One Day

There will come a day, sooner than we think, when nothing else will matter but what we did with the Easter story. All the long hours spent working, playing, hunting, and fishing will no longer matter. The only thing that will matter is what we've done with Jesus. 
One day, we will stand face to face with God.
Let the reality of that sink in. 
One day we will stand face to face with the Creator of all things! 
Imagine that moment. How will it go for  you? 
Are you prepared to stand before the King? 
Have you surrendered your life to the One who came to live, die, and rise again for the whole world? 

God, help us to chase after the things that matter most. Help us to focus more on the things that matter for eternity and less on the things that will fade in this life. Help us keep looking ahead to that one day.
