Doe Patrol

I got out for a quick hunt yesterday afternoon with my little CameraGirl, Avery.  We sat in the Double Bull blind set up on the apple orchard.  We saw lots of deer and even had one shooter buck in velvet cruise by out of range and feed on the other end of the orchard.  We had a doe scoot 15 yards past our blind and Avery was ready for dad to punch a tag, so I turned one loose.  The doe ran about a hundred yards and crashed.  Watching how quick my little girl is growing up kills me.  Not too many years ago, she was sitting with me in the ground blind watching Cinderella on the laptop.  Now she sits there like a little lady, playing with her Ipod.  Time flies when you're hangin' with your kiddos on a deer hunt.
